How To Make Sea Moss
-
Prepare Ingredients
Grab your Raw Sea Moss, limes (if you're feeling zesty), and water.
Weigh your Sea Moss; for a 350ml jar, use 15 grams
-
Pre-Soak Sea Moss
Grab a bowl, add filtered water, and plop in the Sea Moss to pre-soak.
Allow it to chill for 5 minutes to soften.
-
Clean Sea Moss
Give the Sea Moss a good wash to clear out any ocean impurities
-
Soak the Moss
When Sea Moss is rinsed, transfer it to filtered water in a bowl, let it soak for 24 hours.
Optionally, add lime juice by squeezing both halves into the Sea Moss.
-
Blend
24 hours in, the Sea Moss turns soft and creamy. Remove water, blend with 350ml fresh filtered water until smooth, adjust for your preferred consistency!
-
Set in Jar
Pour the blended Sea Moss into a jar and refrigerate for 3-4 hours to set into a gel consistency.
-
